Yahya Al-Shahrani, a student at the Hifz Quran School in Abha, found the misprint while reading Surah Anfal in the course book, Akhbar 24 website reported.
He noticed that part of the word Al-Anfal in the first verse of the Surah has been left out.
Al-Shahrani informed his teacher and the school manager about the typo.
The course book, named Al-Mushaf Al-Muallim, (teacher’s copy), has been printed in Jeddah and is used to teach Tajweed in Quran memorization schools.
