According to report published by the center, it has organized 8 dialogue sessions with the Russian Orthodox Church since 1997.
The first session was held in Tehran under the title of “Religion and Peace” and featured topics like relations between Muslims and Christians in the Islamic Republic of Iran, relations between religion and government, peace and war, and foundations of peace in Islam.
Moscow hosted the 8th session held under the title of human rights.
The papers presented in that forum featured subjects such as religious ethics, rights of religions, religion in human rights, human rights in Islam, and cultural diversity.
The next edition of dialogue between the center and the Russian Orthodox Church will be orgaznied in Tehran later this year.
