The judging committees for the boys' and girls' final rounds of the 46th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran, on Saturday heard the recitations of 33 contestants, including 17 boys and 16 girls, during the morning and afternoon sessions.

The competition has been organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.

The judging committees will continue hearing the contestants' recitations until Thursday, in accordance with the approved schedule.

A distinguished group of international judges specializing in Quranic sciences, recitation, and Tajweed rules is participating in evaluating the contestants in the final rounds.

A total of 334 male and female contestants from 133 countries are taking part in the contest, marking the largest turnout in the competition's history.
