According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, some 150 Indian Quran reciters and memorizers will participate at the contest to be organized on the occasion of the Unity Week and the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ja’far Sadeq (AS).
The auspicious occasion will be celebrated at the closing ceremony of the contest and winners will be honored at the program.
A copy of the Holy Quran inscribed by an Iranian calligrapher will also be unveiled at the ceremony.
The Quranic manuscript has been published in 21000 copies by the Iranian center in India in cooperation with the Iranian Organization of Awqaf and Charity Affairs.
