Saudi Shias Hold Cultural Festival on Occasion of Prophet’s (PBUH) Birthday

Shias in eastern Saudi Arabia held a cultural festival on the occasion of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birth.

Titled Qaab Qosayn, the festival was organized in the city of Safavi on Thursday, January 16, Al-Akhbariya website reported.

Organized by the Wa’atasimu Society at Sediqa Fatima Zahra (SA), it will be underway until tomorrow night, January 19.

The festival includes a seminar with the theme of social peace and humanity’s security.

It is the third year the festival is held in the city. It aims to foster the culture of Islamic proximity and institutionalize the culture of cooperation among Islamic schools of thought.
