Listening to beautiful Recitations Paves Way for Reflection on Quran
Speaking in a Radio program, Saeed Tousi added that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei has frequently emphasized the importance of beautiful recitation of the Quran.
He quoted the Supreme Leader as saying that when Qaris recite a verse of the Quran beautifully it will be more effective than an hour of a sermon.
He also said that more attention should be paid by Qaris to elevating spirituality in their recitations.
Tousi further stressed that a specialized view is needed for the country’s Quranic activities and Quranic education.
He said while there was a lack of such a view in a few decades ago, through efforts made by the masters of the field, it has become more noticeable in the country’s Quranic sphere.
