Titled “Quran, Secret of Unity”, the expo features art works by Iranian calligraphers, IQNA’s Africa branch reported.
It has been organized in cooperation with the North African country’s culture ministry and the Ibn Rashiq Cultural Center.
The exhibition was launched in a ceremony attended by Tunisian calligraphy masters and others interested in the art of calligraphy.
Addressing the ceremony, Samira Bin Badr, representative of Tunisia’s culture ministry, highlighted the greatness of Iran’s civilization and called on the two countries’ artists to work to portray the beauties of relations between the two nations.
He also thanked the Iranian cultural center’s activities and said the Tunisian ministry is ready to develop cultural ties with Iran.
Sadeq Ramezan Golafzayi, Iran’s cultural attaché, also addressed the event, hoping that the cultural activities organized by the center would pave the way for further cultural, art and scientific exchanges between Iran and Tunisia.
25 beautiful Nasta’liq calligraphy works by Iranian artists are showcased in the exhibition.
