Course in Karbala Aims to Enhance Skills of Quran Competition Judges
It was organized by the ‘Fatima bint Assad Quran Studies Department affiliated with the Women’s Affairs Department of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine, Al-Kafeel reported.
The aim of the course was developing professional skills and training female judges for Quran competitions. It focused on strengthening judging skills and increasing performance efficiency in the fields of planning, implementation and judging methods.
Another goal of this course was to strive to achieve higher quality results in the process of teaching Quranic and educational activities organized by this department throughout the year.
The program was held over two days - three-hour sessions each day - at the headquarters of the Fatima bint Asad Quran Studies Department and included modern teaching methods along with various individual and group exercises.
The course programs also sought to empower participants in the application of approved refereeing strategies by combining mastery, interaction, and skill training.
The course concluded with practical exercises and written exams based on unified and nationally approved regulations with the aim of assessing how the participants had benefited from the educational topics, consolidating the material presented in the participants’ minds, and ensuring their effective application in future activities.

Through such courses, the Fatima Bint Asad Quranic Studies Department seeks to empower Quranic staff, increase the effectiveness of their refereeing performance, and teach them in the service of the Quran in accordance with the highest standards and academic qualifications.
