IQNA – The Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated with the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine in Karbala announced the holding of Quranic programs for Arbaeen pilgrims.

The center launched its Quranic promotion and education project by establishing dozens of Quranic stations along the roads leading to the holy city of Karbala.

This project is being implemented as the movement of pilgrims to Karbala to commemorate Arbaeen has started.

It is aimed at spreading the Quranic culture and increasing religious awareness among the Arbaeen pilgrims.

Imad al-Wajdi, the director of center, said this project includes setting up dozens of Quranic stations with educational and guidance programs that will help consolidate the concepts of the Holy Quran and strengthen the connection of Arbaeen pilgrims with the teachings of Islam during their journey to Karbala.

He added that these programs are held with the aim of spreading the Quranic culture, increasing awareness of religious teachings, and providing religious guidance in a manner consistent with the atmosphere of this great pilgrimage.

Sayid Khaled Al-Ghalibi, one of the officials of the center, explained that at the Quranic stations, pilgrims are provided with doctrinal explanations and answers to jurisprudential questions, in a way that would play a role in establishing correct Islamic concepts and serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (AS).
