Regional Quranic Seminar Begins in India

A regional seminar on “Quran Teaching and Development of Quranic Institutes” began on January 25 in Hyderabad, India.




According to Qudspress international news agency, the seminar has been jointly organized by the ISESCO and the World Association of Quran Memorization.



It has been attended by 30 officials of Quranic institutes from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.



The participants discuss realities about Quranic activities in their countries and Asia, investigate scientific, educational official and economic problems of Quranic institutes, provide solutions for the problems and to promote the level of Quran teaching in the institutes through the development of planning and evaluating methods.



Methods of interaction of Quran teaching institutes with social and economic societies, cooperation in development, and application of new technologies in teaching Quran will be among the themes of the seminar.



The program also aims to encourage the Quran experts to interact and exchange their experiences in order to provide a comprehensive approach to strengthen Quranic institutes and to revive their educational role.
