Training Quran Teachers, Among Al-Mustafa University’s Main Activities

Training teachers, preachers and researchers of the Quran is among the main activities of Al-Mustafa International University.

Hossein Assadi, Director General of the university’s Department of Quran and Hadith Affairs, made the remark on Tuesday while speaking in a program on Quran Radio, adding that Al-Mustafa University is an institution that has seminary nature and trains individuals to become influential scholars on Islam.
He said as well as students from Iran, the university has students from 108 other countries.
Assadi noted that Al-Mustafa International University also has representative offices in 60 countries.
Referring to the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory, he described Al-Mustafa University as one of the blessings of the Islamic Revolution.
The official further noted that Quranic programs of the university first and foremost are held for the university’s students and that these programs are also received well by a great number of other people, especially academicians.
He went on to say that holding Quran and Hadith competitions in different categories  are among other activities of the university.
“In the past years, we have organized some 700 Quranic competitions in Iran and around 400 more in other countries,” Assadi stated.
Al-Mustafa University as an international academic, Islamic and Howzawi institute and an institute carrying the title of the blessing last prophet, Mohammad (PBUH) aims to fulfill the needs of the thirsty for knowledge and disseminate Islamic teachings by instructing jurists, researchers, teachers, disseminators and pious and committed Muslim thinkers and by larifying and expanding the Quranic and Islamic viewpoints and disseminating Islamic theories, divine teachings and humanities knowledge.
