UK: Man Charged after Quran Torn Apart at Blues Game

A man has been charged after pages were torn out of a Quran at a Birmingham City game.

Mark Stephenson, 25, from Shrewsbury has been charged with causing racial or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress by West Midlands Police.

The incident happened during a game against Middlesborough at St Andrew's on December 7.

He is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on February 28.
