According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, the contest was organized in cooperation with the Islamic University of Ghana and Iranian Cultural Center in the country.
Some 90 students from The Islamic University of Ghana, Radford University, Wisconsin International University College, Ahmadiyya International University, College of Quranic Sciences, Ahmadiyyah Jamia Al-Mubasherin, Ahmadiyyah Quran Memorization School and Ahl-ul-Bait (AS) Seminary School participated at the first stage of the contest.
The second stage of the Quranic contest was attended by 100 students of Ghana-Lebanese Islamic Secondary and High School, Dodoa Secondary School, Al-Mercy Secondary School in Madina region, Action High School and Sayyed-ul-Wasiyyin High School in Accra.
The students competed on memorization of the entire Quran, 15 Juzes (parts) of the Holy Quran, Tarteel recitation of the Quranic verses and interpretation of the Quran.
