Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, the Quran and Etrat deputy of the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance made the announcement in a meeting in Tehran on Sunday, adding that the exhibition will run for 20 days.
He said the first five days of the Quranic event are in the month of Sha’aban so that those from other cities who want to visit the exhibition can do so (without having to break their Ramadan fast).
Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati further underlined the need for employing innovative ideas in organizing the spiritual exhibition most magnificently.
He also said the potentials of different government bodies and the Municipality of Tehran should be used for best holding the Quranic event.
He added that Sunday’s meeting discussed the weaknesses of the previous editions of the exhibition and ways to avoid those weaknesses in this year’s edition.
