News ID: 1397527
A forum featuring the roots of Islamophobia in the West and the consequences of the spreading trend is planned to be held at the International Quran News Agency.

It will be attended by Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Salman Safavi, head of the London-based International Peace Studies Center.
Means and capabilities of the Muslim world for confronting the wave of Islamophobia, role of Takfiri and extremist groups in formation and intensification of Islamophobia, and strategies for containing the spread of Islamophobia in the West are the three main themes of the event.
The forum will start at 10 A.M., Tuesday, April 22, at the conference hall of the news agency’s main building in Tehran.
In the past few years, Islamophobia has increased all over the world especially in the West. Hence, it is a responsibility of Muslim scholars and the media to shed light on different aspects of the trend and try to confront it.
