French Soccer Coach Embraces Islam
A famous French football coach and France’s former international footballer has embraced Islam.
François Bracci, who currently coaches Algerian premier league’s Laghouat Club, officially announced his conversion to Islam on Sunday, reflexiondz website reported.
Bracci has been coaching soccer teams in the North African countries of Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria since 2003.
The 63-year-old says he has learned about Islam and its teachings during these years in the three Muslim countries and after extensively studying about the religion embraced Islam.
Bracci announced his conversion at the Imam Hussein (AS) Mosque in the city of Laghouat , 400 km south of the capital Algiers.
Previously, Kasr el Hiran, Christian manager of Algeria’s Shabab football team had converted to Islam.
