Imam Ali’s (AS) Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in The Phillippines
On the occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), a ceremony will be held on May 12 by Iranian Cultural Center in Manila, The Philippines.
According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, Al-Mustafa International University will cooperate in the organization of the program.
Muslims and Ahl-ul-Bayt’s (AS) devotees in other parts of the region such as Marawi city will also celebrate the auspicious occasion.
The birth anniversary of the first infallible Imam (AS) is celebrated on the 13th of the month of Rajab in various parts of the world.
Iranians all over the country commemorate the auspicious occasion which also marks Father’s Day.
Imam Ali (AS) was born on the 13th of Rajab, 22 years before the Hijra (600AD) within the sacred walls of the Holy Ka'ba - a birthplace that is exclusive to him as no one else was born there ever since its erection by Prophet Abraham (AS).
