While it had been announced that other sites are being considered for hosting the event, the organizing committee of the exhibition decided not to change the venue of the expo this year.
Meanwhile, Hassan Mohammadi, an official with the organizing committee said Quranic institutes have been invited to take the required steps for ensuring their presence in the 22nd International oly Quran competition.
He said there are stricter conditions this year for Quranic institutes to take part in the expo.
The 22nd edition of Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition will be inaugurated on the 25th of Sha’aban on the lunar Hijri calendar (June 24).
The exhibition is annually organized by the Quran and Etrat deputy of the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance.
