1148 Quranic Plan Gets Underway in Iran

The 1148 Quranic Plan started in Iran on Friday, concurrent with the birthday of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent).

The plan, which features memorization of verses of the Quran related to the Islamic style of life, is organized by the Quran Channel of the IRIB in cooperation with the country's Quranic organizations and cultural bodies.
Its name signifies the 1148th year after the revelation of the Holy Quran to the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) heart.
The Quranic plan will be underway for 88 days before coming to an end in a ceremony slated for September 7, marking the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
The Quranic verses selected for memorization in the plan feature different themes including faith in God, belief in the Resurrection Day, social behaviors, conducts in family, and knowing the enemy.
