Thailand's Shia Preacher to Attend Sibt-un-Nabi Int'l Conference in Tehran

The prayers leader of Imam Mahdi (AS) Mosque in Thailand will attend the “Sibt-un-Nabi” International Congress in Tehran next week.

The Sibt-un-Nabi” International Congress will be held on June 22 and 23 to discuss the virtues and character of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS).
Sheikh Ayub Yumiya ,who leads prayers at the first Shia mosque in Thailand, was invited to the congress in  a meeting with the Iranian cultural attaché in Bangkok.
In this meeting, the cleric elaborated on the activities of the mosque and said it carries out educational activities, among others, to promote Islamic teachings.
It was also decided in the meeting that after returning from Iran, Sheikh Yumiya start translating an Islamic book about Imam Reza (AS) in view of Sunnis into the Thai language.
He has already translated 12 Islamic books into Thai and the Iranian cultural center has published them.
