Mayor of Tehran Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf hailed the selection of Tehran's Holy Defense Garden-Museum as the venue for the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition.

Speaking to the expo's press center, Qalibaf said the garden-museum is a more appropriate place for hosting the Quran exhibition than other places.
He referred to the existence of different facilities and good access to public transportation including subway stations as the advantages of this year's venue of the exhibition.
The 22nd Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition will kick off on the 25th day of Sha'ban (June 23) at Tehran's Holy Defense Garden-Museum.

It will run for 20 days and come to an end on the 15th of the holy month of Ramadan (July 13).
Until the previous year, the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayers hall) hosted the international Quranic event.
The mayor of Tehran added that another plus point is that visitors to the Quran exhibition can at the same time benefit from the museum.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Qalibaf said Tehran Municipality will cooperate with the organizers of the exhibition in disseminating information about the expo's activities.
