Some of the hand-written copies of the Holy Book on show in the section date back to the Safavid (1501-1722 A.D.) and Qajar (1785–1925)periods.
Among the copies, there is a fabric scroll containing verses of the Holy Quran in Sols script.
There are also Quran manuscripts written in Nasta'liq, Naskh, etc.
The manuscripts have been put on show at the expo by the Quran Museum, which has a collection of rare Quran copies.
The International Holy Quran Exhibition will welcome visitors at the Holy Defense Garden-Museum until July 13.
