The exhibition was opened at Tehran's Holy Defense Garden-Museum on June 24 and its international section will be inaugurated on Saturday, July 5.
The works by Ms Gomez to be put on display at the expo are those related to Islamic architecture. They include models of minarets, domes, arches, and shrines.
Teresa Esteban Gómez got her PhD from the College of Fine Arts, Complutense University of Madrid, in 1992.
She has so far showcased her art works in different exhibitions in Spain, France, Italy, and other European countries.
She will attend the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition thanks to efforts by the Islamic Republic of Iran's Cultural Center in Spain.
