Adil al-Baz is currently touring the western province of Hamedan, reciting the Holy Quran in various cities including Hamedan, Bahar, Famenin, Assadabad, Nahavand, and Razan.
Muhammad Mahmoud al-Mariji, another prominent Qari from Egypt, is in Markazi province.
On Sunday night, the 8th day of Ramadan, he will attend a Quran recitation session at Javad-ul-Aemma Mosque in the city of Delijan.
The program, slated to be held after Iftar (breaking fast after sunset), will also include Tawasheeh (religious songs) performances.
The Egyptian Quran reciters have been invited by Iran's Awaf and Charity Affairs Organization to attend more than 560 Quran recitation programs in Ramadan.
Ahmed Shahat Ahmed Lashin, Ali Mahmoud Al-Shamis, Muhammad Qutb Al-Tawil, Abdul Nasser Harak, Muhammad Sharafeddin, and Mutawali Abdulal are the other Qaris invited to Iran.
They attend Quran recitation sessions arranged by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization in mosques, holy sites, government institutions and religious centers in different provinces.
This is while head of Egypt's Association of Quran Reciters had recently said that the country's Qaris must not travel to Iran.
Sheikh Muhammad Tablawi called on Sheikh of Al-Azhar Islamic Center Ahemd Al-Tayyeb and Egypt's Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Minister Muhammad Mukhtar Guma last month to prevent Egyptian Qaris and the scholars of Al-Azhar from going to Iran and Iraq.
Furthermore, the presiding council of the association revoked the membership of four Qaris because of their trip to Iran and Iraq and their recitation of Adhan (call to prayers) the Shia style.
Sheikh Ahmed Ahmed Noaina, Sheikh Taha Muhammad Al-Numani, Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Wahhab Tantawi and Sheikh Yasser Abdul Basit Abdul Samad were the four banned reciters.
