It has been mounted by the country's Islamic Society in the capital Kinshasa on the occasion of the 1404th year after the revelation of the Quran, Digitalcongo website reports.
The expo opened at Kawsar hall with the participation of Sheikh Ali Mwinyi M'Kuu, head of the society, and a number of ambassadors of Islamic countries in the DRC.
The exhibit features various copies of the Holy Quran in original Arabic and its translations in local African languages.
Some of the visitors, Muslim or non-Muslim, receive free copies of the Holy Quran.
On display are also relics said to belong to the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
The Quran exhibition will run until Friday, July 25.
Islam has been present in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo since the 18th century.
Currently, Muslims are estimated to make up approximately 10 percent of the African country's population.
