The expo that was launched on Monday will run until the 25th day of the holy month of Ramadan, July 23, IRNA reports.
It showcases various copies of the Holy Quran as well as Quranic artworks, books and software products.
There are also Quran recitation sessions attended by prominent Afghan Qaris as well as Quran recitation and memorization contests.
Iranian Cultural Attaché Nasser Jahanshahi, who attended the opening ceremony, in a speech called on Muslims to hold fast to the Holy Quran and move on the path of Islamic unity.
The Kabul Quranic exhibition is an annual event organized in the holy month of Ramadan.
