Quran Exhibition, Venue for Promotion of Virtue

Head of Tehran Municipal Council Ahmad Masjedjamei said holding the Quran exhibition is a way of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

 Speaking to the expo's press center, he added that the Quran exhibition has managed to advance arts, research, and education with the central theme of the Quran.

There was a time when the society did not know of the country's Quranic scholars and researchers but the Quran exhibit helped to introduce them to people, he stated.
Masjedjamei also highlighted the role of the Quran exhibition in the development of Quranic and religious books and CDs.
The 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition is underway at the Holy Defense Garden-Museum in Tehran.
