Paintings Featuring Islamic Teachings to Be Displayed in Moscow

An exhibition of paintings featuring the human teachings of Islam will be mounted on July 15 by the Iranian Cultural Center in Moscow, Russia.

 According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the paintings were created by Michael Chailov, Russian artist and member of Russian Painters Union.

Seven tableaus by the artist on Islamic themes will be displayed at the exhibition.
Quranic arts including calligraphy, illumination and carpets will also be exhibited by the Iranian center.
The main objective of the Russian artist, who is highly influenced by the spiritual teachings of Islam, is to present a true picture of the religion for people in Russia.
Since two years ago, he has been creating artworks on the Islamic themes some of which have been displayed at the halal exhibition in Moscow last year.
Prominent orientalists such as Professor Meyer, head of the Institute for Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University has praised him for his influential works.
