Int'l Quran and Etrat Exhibition Launched in Mashhad

The 9th international Holy Quran and Etrat Exhibition of Mashhad was inaugurated in the northeastern city of Iran on Tuesday.

Culture Ministry's Quran and Etrat Deputy Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati in an address to the opening ceremony described the Quran exhibition, which is the second largest after the Tehran Quran expo, as an honor for the ministry. 
He said Quran exhibitions have been mounted in 12 provincial capitals across the country during the holy month of Ramadan.
Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati also said that as well as showcasing Quranic artworks, Quran exhibitions should be venues for discussing and pondering over the verses of the Holy Book.
Also in the opening ceremony, the first volume of the book " Who's Who of Quran and Etrat Servants" was unveiled.
