Head of the 22nd International Holy Quran Exhibition issued a statement condemning the Zionist regime's atrocities in the Gaza Strip.

The statement said the people of Gaza are being brutally attacked from the ground and air by the Zionist regime in the holy month of Ramadan and as the International Quds Day approaches.
It said the organizers and visitors of the exhibition condemn the Israeli raids and reiterate their support for the struggles of the Palestinian nation, IRNA reported.
It went on to say that a special ceremony will be held at the Quran exhibition on Tuesday, July 22, to honor the martyrs of Gaza and highlight support for the oppressed Palestinian people.
Nearly 600 hundred people have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the deadly Israeli offensive against the coastal enclave started on July 8.
Also huge numbers of people have fled their homes in Gaza, with the UN saying over 100,000 people have sought shelter in 69 schools run by its Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA).
