Specialized Library Features Books on Imam Ali’s (AS) Life, Seerah
Mohammad Mojtahedi, in charge of the library, told IRNA that the work, which belong to different periods in history, have been collected from different parts of the world.
They have been categorized in various sections such as Seerah, life, virtues, and sayings of Imam Ali A(S) as well as Ghadir, Shiism and Imamate, he noted.
Mojtahedi said he started to collect the works 14 years ago with the aim of providing a comprehensive book collection about the Imam (AS).
He plans to equip the library and increase the number of the works to 50000 titles.
Mojtahedi noted that there are still a lot of works about Imam Ali (AS) and many manuscripts available in personal libraries or government institutions which can be added to the library.
There are also lithograph copies and rare manuscripts as well as articles about the Imam (AS) in the specialized library.
