“Quranic Family, Islamic Role-Model” Forum in Mashhad
Addressing the forum, head of the Cultural Center of Islamic Sciences in the holy city of Qom, said that one of the aspects of the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) which has been neglected is to establish the society based on the orders of God and teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
To reach the objective, family which is the core of a society should be formed based on religious principles and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he added.
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Mahdi Mirbaqeri noted that it is only in his way that a family will reach perfectness.
He said on the contrary there is a western family which presents worldly and Western civilization.
Such a civilization with its wrong role-models for modernization is threatening the establishment, strengthening and perfectness of a family.
The increase of single lives and the age of marriage from 15 to 25 and even to 40 years old are some of the results of following the western role-models.
He concluded that a comprehensive plan is needed to stop the development of such a wrong lifestyle in the society promote the Islamic lifestyle in which the rights of women are fully upheld.
