Winners of Jordan Quran Competition Awarded

The three top winners of the 22nd al-Hashemi International Holy Quran Competition in Jordan were awarded on Thursday, July 24.

The ceremony was held at Malik talal Mosque in the capital city of Amman and attended by the Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II.
Iran's representative Mojtaba Fardfani was not among the three top prize winners. 
The competition began on Saturday, July 19 with the participation of representatives from 33 countries.
It was held in three categories of memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 20 Juzes (sections) and memorization of 10 Juzes.
Participants in all categories were also scored on their Tajweed skills and accurate recitation.
The al-Hashemi International Holy Quran Competition is annually held in Jordan during the holy month of Ramadan.
