Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the Zionist regime's barbaric offensive against the people of Gaza has led to a human tragedy in the coastal enclave.

Speaking in a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Nasrallah described the Israeli raids as war crimes and crimes against humanity.
He lauded the Islamic Republic of Iran's active diplomacy and support for the anti-Zionist resistance and underlined that need for unity among Palestinian groups and resorting to the spirit of resistance and steadfastness against the occupying regime of Israel.
Nasrallah also called for using all regional and international capacities to force Tel Aviv to stop its atrocities in Palestine.
Iran's foreign minister underlined the country's support for Palestinians' legitimate demands and called for the vigilance of the Muslim world in order for the Palestinian people to get their demands met.
Zarif also elaborated on Iran's efforts, using the capacity of the Non-Aligned Movement, to support the defenseless people of Palestine.
The Zionist regime launched its offensive against the Gaza Strip on July 8 by pounding the Palestinian impoverished territory through air and naval strikes and tank shelling. On July 17, Tel Aviv also began a ground invasion.
Israeli attacks have destroyed thousands of civilian houses in the densely- populated region.
The Israeli attacks have so far killed more than one thousand Palestinians and injured over 6000 others. The United Nations says civilians constitute most of the Palestinian victims.
