Supreme Leader to Lead Eid Prayers in Tehran

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will lead the Eid al-Fitr prayers in Tehran on Tuesday.

The Eid congregational prayers will be held tomorrow in the Imam Khomeini (RA) grand Mosalla (prayers ground) in the Iranian capital city.
Ayatollah Khamenei will also address the worshippers after the prayers on Tuesday morning.
The country's high-ranking officials as well as a large number of people from different walsk of life are expected to attend the Eid prayers.
Iranians, along with Muslims in a number of other Islamic countries such as Pakistan, Oman, and Morocco will celebrate Eid al-Fitr on Tuesday, July 29.
Some other countries including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates have announced Monday as Eid.
At the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims throughout the world observe a joyous celebration called Eid al-Fitr (the Festival of Fast-Breaking). It falls on the first day of Shawwal, the month which follows Ramadan in the Islamic calendar.
It is a time to give in charity to those in need, and celebrate with family and friends the completion of a month of fasting, blessings and joy.
