Iran's Minister of Science, Research and Technology Reza Faraji Dana urged for condemning the Zionist regime's atrocities in the Gaza Strip.

In separate letters to science ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) members states as well as Irina Bokova, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Faraji Dana also called on academics and elites in the Muslim world and elsewhere to use all the available capacities to stop the Zionist regime's atrocities.
He rapped the Zionist regime's years-long blockade of the Gaza Strip and its brutal attacks on innocent people in the coastal enclave and called for strengthening the foundations of peace and uprooting violence and racism in the world, dolat.ir website reported.
At least 1,867 Palestinians, including around 430 children, have so far been killed and over 9,500 others injured since the Israeli military launched its recent offensive against the Gaza Strip on July 8.
