Center for Development of Quranic Talents Planned

Iranian Education Ministry's cultural deputy said a center for developing Quranic talents is planned to be established in the country.

Hamid Reza Kaffash made the remark on Saturday at the closing ceremony of the 32nd Quran and Etrat Competition for school students, Fars news agency reported.
He said the center will work to identify Quranic talents among school students.
Kaffash added that the education ministry also plans to develop the Quran memorization plan in schools.
Referring to the Quran competition for school students, which was held in the northwestern city of Urumia, he said 800 students took part in the different categories of the contest including memorization and recitation of the Quran and recitation of Adhan (call to prayers).
