Quran Competition Held for Palestinian Students

The city of Tulkarm in Palestine on Tuesday hosted a Quran competition for students.

The contest was organized by the city's Awqaf department in the categories of memorization of 5, 10, 15, and 20 Juzes (parts) of the Quran, Ma'an news agency reported.
40 students took part in the Quranic event, Adnan Saeed, the head of the department said.
Winner of each category was awarded an Umrah pilgrimage Hajj package and all the participants received a certificate from the Awqaf department, he stated.
Adnan underlined that the department maintains a policy of supporting Quran memorizers and centers for memorization of the Holy Quran.
