Muslim World Silence over Tel Aviv's Desecration of Al-Aqsa Criticized

Christian-Islamic Committee for Defending Quds and Palestine's Sanctities criticized the Muslim world's silence over repeated desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist regime.

The committee in a statement also condemned the international community's inaction against the occupying regime's impudent assaults on the mosque, Ma'an news agency reported.
It said Tel Aviv's objective is removing the Islamic identity of Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque.
The committee called on the world community and international bodies like the United Nations and the UN Security Council to apply pressure on the Zionist regime to stop desecration of holy sites.
The statement came after a number of Jewish settlers, led by radical Rabbi Yehuda Glick, on Tuesday stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque yards from the Al-Magarbah Gate in the occupied city of al-Quds.
The settlers roamed the Mosque yards under the protection of Israeli soldiers and policemen.
