A new interpretation of the Holy Quran by late Sheikh Al-Sadiq bil-Khayr Al-Sayyari was published in Tunisia.

IQNA’s branch in Africa reported that the exegesis titled “Tashil Al-Tafsir li-Muhkam Ayat Al-Tanzil” was published in 2197 pages.

The work has been written in a simple language so that everyone with any educational background can read and benefit from it.

The Tunisian scholar Al-Sayyari (1918-2000), was a student of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Tahir bin ‘Ashur, author of the famous Quran interpretation titled “Tahrir Al-Ma’ni Al-Sadid wa Tanwir Al-‘Aql Al-Jadid min Tafsir Al-Kitab Al-Majid” popularly known as “Al-Tahrir wa Al-Tanwir”.

In 1941, the scholar received an international certificate of religious sciences from Jami’ Al-A’zam in Tunisia and conducted a four-year scientific research on Quranic interpretation.

The result of his research was a collection of manuscripts which Munji Al-Ka’bi, famous Tunisian historian, has revised and published.
