According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, it is the first work written on the history of Islamic philosophy in Eastern Europe authored by Tahran Khalilovic and Mu’ammar Khlilovic, who studied religious sciences and Islamic philosophy in Qom Seminary for about 20 years.
The authors are also founding members of the board of the Qom Center for Religious Studies in Serbia.
The book was written in the form of traditional teaching method of Islamic philosophy which is considered one of the most important criteria of the educational system in famous seminary schools of the Muslim world.
It points the fact that Islamic philosophy is based on the noble and rich teachings of the Holy Quran and Hadiths of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
The three main schools of Islamic philosophy, their advocates and theoretical Islamic mysticism as well as its important role in the enrichment and development of philosophical thought have been introduced in the book.
In addition to serving as a comprehensive reference for scholars and researchers, the book which has been written in an easy-to-read language, can benefit different groups of readers.
The Quran Center for Religious Studies in Belgrade plans to distribute the book all over Serbia as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The center has also organized a specialized educational course on Islamic philosophy in the capital city of Serbia.
Several specialized forums on Islamic philosophy have also been held by the center in Muslim regions in the southern part of the country.
The book will be introduced as a course book in some colleges in Belgrade and Sarajevo in the new academic year. It will also be presented at the next edition of Belgrade book exhibition.
