IQNA – Razan Muhammad Mutawali is a five-year-old child from Guatemala who participated in the 46th Saudi International Quran Competition.

She was the youngest participant in the international Quranic event, al-Madinah reported.
The 46th King Abdulaziz International Quran Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation Competition was held in Mecca last week.
Razan, the youngest contender, competed in the fifth category of the event, memorizing 5 consecutive Juzes (parts) of the Holy Quran.
She expressed her pleasure at participating in the competition.
Razan said she has memorized five chapters of the Quran and her mother played an important role in teaching her the Book of God and encouraging her to memorize the Quran from an early age.
Razan’s presence in this competition was a shining example of the younger generation of Quran memorizers and the impact of Quranic events in encouraging children from all over the world to memorize and learn the Holy Quran.

The 46th King Abdulaziz International Quran Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation Competition was held with the aim of encouraging young Muslims to memorize, understand and reflect on the Quran.
A total of 334 male and female participants from 133 countries competed in five categories of the competition.
