Religious Competition for Muslim Children in Dagestan

Spiritual administration of Dagestani Muslims with the assistance of "Ihsan" Charitable foundation held a contest among Muslim children, which took place in the central Juma mosque of the city of Makhachkala in the republic of Dagestan.

The contestants competed in the knowledge of namaz and ablution.

Three-month course on Islamic knowledge, which took place in the central Juma mosque in Makhachkala, was completed last week. Children have been taught how to perform ablution and prayer correctly avoiding mistakes that make invalid these obligatory rituals.
At the end of training the spiritual Administration of Dagestani Muslims and the "Insan" charity foundation, conducted a contest during which children competed in the knowledge they have acquired. All the winners were awarded prizes and certificates.
