Quran Recitation Contest Held in Chechnya

The winner of the republican competition of Qur'an reciters, which took place in the republic of Chechnya, Zakriya Taisumov was granted 100 thousand rubles.

The contest, which was attended by many Quran hafizs from all the district of the republic took place in the building of the Spiritual Administration of Chechen Muslims, the Chechnya today news agency reports.
15 contestants, who were selected within the first three qualifying rounds, competed in the final stage.
The head of the jury was appointed Dr.  Of Sharia law Sheikh Mahir from Syria.
