Morocco, Egypt Expand Cooperation in Printing Quran

Official from Egypt and Morocco on Saturday signed an agreement to develop cooperation in printing and publication of Quran copies.

Egypt's Awqaf Minister Muhammad Mukhtar Guma and Morocco's ambassador to Cairo Syed Muhammad Sa'ad al-Alami signed the agreement, which calls for exchange of experience between the two countries in the field of printing and publishing copies of the Holy Quran.
It also calls for cooperation in translating and publishing Islamic books in different languages with the aim of developing Islamic teachings.
The two sides will also interact in holding Islamic conferences and forums with the participation of Muslim scholars and thinkers.
Egypt and Morocco are two Muslim countries in North Africa.
