Quran Encyclopedia to Be Completed in Ten Years

The 30-volume Encyclopedia of the Holy Quran will take 10 years to complete.

This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Khorasani, director of the department at the Quranic Culture and Teachings Center charged with compiling the monumental work.
He told IQNA that the 12th volume of the encyclopedia containing entries beginning with the letter 'KH' has just been published.
Hojat-ol-Islam Khorasani said the 13th volume is expected to be completed in a year.
He said that on average, each volume contains 75 entries and the entire encyclopedia will have some 2300 articles.
He went on to say that more than 100 university and seminary scholars in the field of Quranic sciences and related fields such as theology, Fiqh (jurisprudence), Islamic ethics, history of Islam, etc, cooperate in compiling the work.
