Government Resolved to Develop Quranic Activities

Quran and Etrat Deputy of Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance underlined the government's resolve to expand Quranic activities.

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati said despite budget limitations, the government is determined to fulfill its Quranic budget commitments.
He noted that President Hassan Rouhani and other government officials have promised to help the development of Quranic activities in the country, IRNA reported.
According to Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati, 2000 billion rials of funds have been allocated for Quranic activities this year.
He said the Supreme Cultural Revolution Council has already received some 600 billion rials of these funds.
Earlier this year, head of Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization described the Islamic Republic as the flag-bearer of Quranic activities in the world.
Since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Iran has been a leading country in organizing Quranic activities and promoting the Quranic culture.
