Training Course for Judges of Quran Competitions in Saudi Arabia

The fifth edition of a training course for judges of Quran competitions will be held on the sidelines of the 36th international Quran memorization, recitation and interpretation competition in Saudi Arabia.

 According to elwaqe website, secretariat of Saudi Arabia’s national and international competitions affiliated to the country’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Awqaf, Dissemination and Guidance announced the names of the participants in this edition of the course.

Mansour bin Muhammad Al-Sameeh, who is in charge of the secretariat, said that the course will be attended by 23 experts in Quranic researches and Quran competition instructions from 20 countries.
Promoting the participants’ skills in judgment in Quran competitions and training qualified judges to supervise international Quran contests are the objectives of the course.
The international Quran competition in Saudi Arabia will be held from 22nd to 29th of Muharram (November 16 to 23) at Masjid al-Haram under the supervision of Saleh bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al Sheikh, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Awqaf, Dissemination and Guidance.
Ahmad bin Ali Al-Sudais and Salim bin Gharmullah Al-Zahrani from Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Muhammad bin Yahya Jam’an from Yemen, Towfiq bin Ahmad Al-Abqari from Morocco and Sheikh Al-Shahat Seyyed Hassan Shahin from Egypt are the members of the judging board in this edition of the Quran competition.
