Iran’s Parliament Speaker Felicitates Muslims on Eid

Iranian parliament speaker felicitated his counterparts in Muslim countries and Muslims all over the world on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha.

In a message issued on Saturday, Ali Larijani referred to Hajj and Eid al-Adha as manifestations of Islamic unity.
He wished all Muslims prosperity and success and prayed for enhanced unity and fraternity among Muslims, Tasnim news agency reported.
Eid al-Adha, or "Feast of Sacrifice”, marks the end of the Hajj season and is one of the most important Islamic celebrations.
A financially-able Muslim sacrifices a single sheep or goat or shares with others in sacrificing a camel or cow as an act of worship during the Eid al-Adha celebrations.
The ritual commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's (AS) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail to Allah as an act of obedience and submission.
