Cultural deputy of Iran’s education ministry said different Quranic programs have been planned for school students.

Hamid Reza Kaffash told the Tasnim news agency that the programs will be held throughout the current school year that started two weeks ago.
He said they include thematic memorization of verses of the Quran, launching and equipping Dar-ol-Quran centers in schools, and organizing Quran competitions.
Kaffash noted that in one of the programs titled “Vajehayeh Nourani” (illuminated words), school students learn about the meanings of selected Quranic words.
He further said that like previous years, the national Quran competition for school students will be held in four stages of school, district, provincial and national in the categories of memorization, recitation and Quranic concepts.
